Traditional banking apps frustrate users with complexity. Halo Assets wanted to make investing, saving, and banking feel natural — on both web and mobile.
The fintech space is crowded, but most apps either oversimplify to the point of being useless, or overcomplicate until users give up. Halo Assets had a vision: create a digital financial platform that treats users like intelligent adults while making complex financial operations feel effortless. The challenge was building a unified experience across web and mobile that could handle real-time trading, automated savings, business accounts, and personal banking — all while maintaining bank-level security. 'We needed pixel-perfect design and bulletproof backend,' David said. 'No compromises.'
Every pixel was intentional. Every API call was optimized. This is what happens when design and engineering become one.
David Adeleke
CEO, Halo Assets
We created a unified financial ecosystem — beautiful on the surface, rock-solid underneath.
We built two platforms that feel like one. The web app (Next.js + TypeScript) handles complex operations like portfolio management and detailed analytics. The mobile app (React Native) focuses on quick actions — send money, check balance, make investments — all within seconds. Behind both sits a robust Node.js backend with real-time WebSocket connections for live market data and PostgreSQL for transactional integrity. We integrated with multiple financial APIs for stock trading, implemented biometric authentication, and built custom fraud detection algorithms. Every interaction was designed to feel instant while maintaining complete security. The entire system passed security audits before launch.
From concept to full-scale digital bank — users now manage their entire financial lives in one place.
Halo Assets launched to 10,000+ users in the first quarter. The mobile app maintains a 4.7-star rating with users praising the speed and design. Average session time is 8 minutes — users actually want to spend time managing their finances. The platform now handles millions in daily transactions with zero security incidents. 'The app doesn't feel like fintech,' one user review read. 'It just feels right.'
